Automatic Google Scraper UBot

November 15, 2009 by admin

A simple ubot to automate these actions on Google Search:

  • Find urls based on search.
  • Save list of urls to a file for later use.

This was my first bot, its extremely useful for creating content for other bots. Examples would be to search for:

‘Leave a Reply’ ‘Name “(required)”‘ ‘Mail (will not be published) “(required)”‘ ‘Website’ + ‘YOUR KEYWORD’

This would give us a targetted list of wordpress blogs ready for commenting. You could comment these by hand or use UBot to make a wordpress commenter.

It should work as long as you have .net 3.5 installed

You can download it from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en

Wonderful tool. Howerver am able to make it work for the first 100 results of google. How do you use it for page 2, 3, 4 and so on? I want to make a list of 1000 links for a given search term. Thanks :)

Google updated their search page recently, I just need to redefine the “Next >” button and recompile. Will do it later today if I remember
